About Pakistan Government Jobs
Pakistan Government Jobs is an independent website that collects government job advertisements from across Pakistan and organises them into one searchable list. This page explains who we are, where our information comes from, how we check it, and - just as important - what we are not.
What we do
Government vacancies in Pakistan are published in dozens of places at once: a federal ministry's own website, a provincial commission's advertisement page, a testing service notice, a university's careers section, a newspaper classified column. Nothing joins them up. A candidate who wants to know what they are eligible for this week has to check all of it, every week, and still risks missing the one post that fit.
We do that checking and put the result in one place. Each vacancy is entered with the fields that decide eligibility - qualification, age, experience, domicile, location, last date - so you can filter down to the posts you can actually apply for instead of reading hundreds you cannot. We add the structure; the departments own the recruitment.
Our aim is to be the fastest way to discover a government vacancy in Pakistan, while always sending you to the official source to verify it. Those two things together are the whole point of the site.
What we cover
We track public sector recruitment across the federal government, all four provinces, Islamabad Capital Territory, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. That includes government departments and ministries; public service commissions such as FPSC, PPSC, SPSC, KPPSC, BPSC and AJKPSC; testing services such as NTS, PTS, OTS and STS; autonomous bodies and public sector companies including WAPDA, NADRA, HEC, FBR, FIA and Pakistan Railways; provincial police forces; public universities and teaching hospitals; and the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
Posts range from Matric and Intermediate level roles - clerks, drivers, data entry operators, support staff - through Bachelor's and Master's level professional posts in teaching, medicine, nursing, engineering, IT, accounts, law and administration, up to senior management and research positions. You can see every organisation currently tracked on the organizations page.
Where our information comes from
We think you should know how a website that tells you about jobs gets its information, so here it is in full.
We collect from official sources only
Vacancies are taken from official department and commission websites, official notifications and circulars, testing service announcements, and advertisements published in national and regional newspapers. We do not publish vacancies from anonymous tips, WhatsApp forwards or social media rumours.
We record the details eligibility turns on
For each post we capture the department, hiring route, qualification and field, age range, required experience, employment nature, location and last date - the fields that decide whether an application survives scrutiny.
We keep a link back to the original
Wherever an official advertisement or department page is publicly available, the listing links to it, so you can confirm every detail at the source instead of trusting our copy of it.
We remove and correct
Closed, withdrawn, duplicated and incorrect listings are removed or corrected as we find them, and whenever a reader reports one. Corrections sent to hello@pakistangovernmentjobs.com are handled first.
What we cannot promise is that every listing is perfect at the moment you read it. Last dates get extended, posts get withdrawn, corrigenda change eligibility, and re-typing introduces errors. That is true of every third-party job website, and it is why every page here tells you to confirm the details on the official source before you act on them.
What we are not
- Not a government website. We are privately operated and have no official standing. Official Pakistani government websites use the gov.pk domain.
- Not a recruiter or agent. We do not accept applications, collect documents, conduct tests or interviews, shortlist candidates, or influence any selection decision.
- Not a paid service. Nothing here costs money, and we never request payment for a job, a test, a result or “guaranteed” selection. Anyone doing so in our name is defrauding you.
- Not the authority on eligibility. Where our listing and the official advertisement disagree, the official advertisement is correct - always.
Tell us when we get something wrong
If a listing is inaccurate, expired, duplicated or misleading, we want to know. Corrections and removal requests take priority over everything else in our inbox. Email hello@pakistangovernmentjobs.com or use the contact page, and please include the listing URL.
