Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the peer review and assessment of curriculum design and recommend improvements to the curriculum framework followed by TVET institutes and CBTA education including the National Vocational Qualifications Framework
  • Identify challenges in realigning curricula under the framework
  • Provide input to develop and implement holistic and comprehensive TVET curricula covering various sectors and domains
  • Ensure the curriculum supports young people in developing lifelong and employability skills as well as cognitive skills and practical learning
  • Ensure necessary emphasis on holistic development of learners resulting in economic progress and improved workforce readiness
  • Ensure curriculum development aligns with SDG 4 with emphasis on Global Citizenship Education, Human Rights and Peace Education

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, recognised by HEC
  • Minimum Bachelors degree (16 years of education) in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering disciplines, Masters or above preferred
  • At least eight years of experience after acquiring the stipulated qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development preferably in the public sector
  • Research experience a competitive advantage
  • Excellent presentation, communication and IT skills
  • Age up to 50 years

Experience required

  • Required experience: At least 8 years
  • At least eight years of experience after acquiring the stipulated qualification with demonstrated experience in curriculum development, preferably in the public sector; research experience is a competitive advantage
  • Experience accepted from: Foreign Funded Projects, International Organizations, Government Institutions, Asian Development Bank Projects

Age limit

  • Male: 35 – 50 years
  • Female: 35 – 50 years
  • Transgender: 35 – 50 years
