Duties and responsibilities
- Install, configure and administer databases
- Perform system optimization, recovery planning and testing
- Ensure database security and integrity
- Support application teams with database design and tuning
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor - 16 Years Education, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, recognised by HEC
- Assistant Director (Database) to administer and maintain PIFTAC databases.
- Minimum 16 years of education (2nd division or equivalent CGPA) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or Data Sciences from an HEC recognized university
- Minimum 04 years post-qualification experience as a database administrator
- Certification in Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL or MongoDB preferred
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 4 years
- Minimum 04 years post-qualification experience as a database administrator including installation, configuration, system optimization, recovery planning, testing, security and integrity
Age limit
- Male: 28 – 40 years
- Female: 28 – 40 years
- Transgender: 28 – 40 years
