• Install, configure and set up Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection
• Install Guardium agents on database servers and configure log collection
• Apply timely patching of Guardium appliances and renew licences
• Monitor and evaluate database incidents through IBM Guardium
• Perform data discovery and classification with stakeholders to prioritise security solutions
• Monitor and audit all database activity including privileged user activity
• Analyse database risks through data analytics of existing logs
• Perform scripting and automation of robotic processes and reports
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery and data protection mechanisms
• Implement cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud-based databases

• Bachelor - B.S COMPUTER SCIENCE, Bachelor of Information Technology, B.S(Software Engineering), BS (Computer Engineering), BS (Information Security), BS (Cyber Security), Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Electronics), in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, recognised by HEC
• Bachelors (4 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Information Security or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with relevant IS certifications from an HEC recognized university
• Degrees must be attested by HEC
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization
• Analytical aptitude, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Technical writing and communication skills

• Required experience: At least 2 years
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Database Administration or Network Device Administration. Certification/badge in any IBM Security product and IS certificates such as CySA+ or Data+ preferred.
