Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in Layer 2/3 switches, core firewalls, WAF, switches and IDS/IPS
  • Manage routine operations and troubleshooting for core network elements
  • Perform network optimization including bandwidth monitoring, QoS, health checks, SLA monitoring, preventive maintenance and incident management
  • Oversee implementation, commissioning and RMA processes for network hardware
  • Ensure physical infrastructure standards including cabling and equipment mounting
  • Conduct redundancy testing, backups and restoration verification
  • Implement information security tasks including encryption and firewalling for assigned network elements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation (SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings and manuals)
  • Manage inventory, vendor SLAs and coordination with audit, HQ and other teams
  • Monitor performance and provide 24/7 support including shift work and weekend availability

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor - B.S(Software Engineering), Bachelor of Information Technology, B.S COMPUTER SCIENCE, BE Telecom Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
  • Bachelor's (4 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecom Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Degrees must be attested by HEC
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • 6 months probation period extendable subject to performance

Experience required

  • Required experience: At least 3 years
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations

  • Male: 18 – 37 years
  • Female: 18 – 37 years
  • Transgender: 18 – 37 years
