• Monitor, analyze and respond to escalated security events and incidents from L1 SOC analysts across SIEM, EDR, firewall and IDS/IPS platforms
• Perform deep-dive investigations using log data, packet captures, endpoint telemetry and threat intelligence
• Identify gaps in detection logic and refine SIEM rules, correlation searches and alert thresholds
• Lead creation and continuous improvement of incident response playbooks and SOPs
• Conduct log validation and testing from Windows/Linux servers, applications, firewalls and cloud platforms
• Collaborate with threat intelligence, vulnerability management and security engineering teams
• Carry out proactive threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK based hypotheses
• Assist in containment, eradication and recovery phases of incident response
• Support purple team exercises and simulate threat scenarios
• Guide and mentor L1 SOC analysts
• Maintain detailed incident logs, reports and metrics

• Bachelors (16 Years) - BS Information Security, BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronic Engineering, BS Cyber Security, in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security, recognised by HEC
• Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Cyber Security from an HEC recognized university
• At least 03 years post-qualification SOC experience including 2 years as L2/L1 SOC analyst
• Must hold Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CSA, CHFI or SIEM (Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar) certification

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• At least 03 years post-qualification experience in information and cyber security with a SOC role (NOC experience not counted), incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence and malware research; must have worked as an L2/L1 SOC analyst for at least 2 years
• Experience accepted from: Large-Scale National Organizations, International Organizations
