Duties and responsibilities
- Assess the formal and non-formal labour market and socioeconomic framework conditions related to education
- Evaluate current TVET systems including skills training for relevance, effectiveness and efficiency
- Provide information on training and education activities and the learning ecosystem
- Assess current training facilities and equipment at TVET institutes and recommend operationalization of Centres of Excellence
- Review curricula, teaching methods and learning and teaching materials related to TVET
- Assess training needs for vocational and technical teachers and trainers
- Review possibilities of introducing mobile, flexible and short training programs and recommend delivery mechanisms
- Recommend strategies to provide training and education for youth and adults establishing a system of lifelong learning
- Collect sample tracer studies of vocational training and Centre of Excellence graduates
- Support peer review and assessment of curriculum design under the National Vocational Qualifications Framework
- Provide input to develop and implement holistic and comprehensive TVET curricula
- Ensure curriculum development aligns with SDG 4 with emphasis on Global Citizenship Education, Human Rights and Peace Education
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Bachelors in Education, Bachelors in Public Policy, Masters in Education, Masters in Public Policy, in Education, Public Policy, recognised by HEC
- Minimum Bachelors degree (16 years of education) in Education, Public Policy or a suitable discipline, Masters preferred
- At least eight years of experience after acquiring the stipulated qualification
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum and technical content development preferably in the public sector
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication and IT skills
- Age up to 50 years
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- At least eight years of experience after acquiring the stipulated qualification with demonstrated experience in curriculum development, specifically technical content development, preferably in the public sector
- Experience accepted from: Foreign Funded Projects, International Organizations, Government Institutions, Asian Development Bank Projects
