• Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps, translating business objectives into actionable technical plans. • Design and enhance Data Center infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational excellence. • Optimize OPEX and ensure effective budget capitalization while maintaining high service availability and efficiency. • Lead operations frameworks, capacity planning, process improvements, certifications, and compliance readiness. • Oversee procurement strategy, vendor management, and SLA governance to ensure performance and accountability. • Drive major incident management and ensure root cause analysis (RCA) governance with rapid issue resolution. • Integrate Data Center management tools with enterprise service management systems for seamless operations. • Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to evaluate and align emerging technologies with corporate standards and scalability goals. • Engage with corporate and client teams for technical onboarding/offboarding and support pre/post-sales engagements. • Ensure customer-centric service delivery, maintaining vendor satisfaction above defined KPIs (target: 95%+). • Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews, ensure SLA adherence, and execute contingency plans as required. • Oversee regulatory, compliance, ISO, and DC Tier documentation, ensuring audit readiness and bridging compliance gaps. • Lead initiatives in emerging technologies including AI, Quantum Computing, IoT, and Cybersecurity for future scalability. Experience: • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership, data center operations, and emerging technologies; proven record in system design, innovation management, and digital infrastructure development.Strategic technology planning, data center management, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, R&D leadership, AI/Quantum computing knowledge, emerging technology integration, and team leadership. • Progressive experience in technology leadership, infrastructure operations, and innovation management. • Proven track record in Data Center infrastructure management, including design, migration and upgrades. • Demonstrated success in end-to-end Data Center execution, from architecture to operations. • Strong expertise in cost optimization, cybersecurity, and high-availability service delivery. • Proven expertise in IT strategy formulation, infrastructure planning, and digital transformation. • Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, network security, and cloud integration. • Knowledge of quantum communication systems, post-quantum encryption, and R&D coordination will be a major advantage. • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder coordination capabilities Education / Qualification • PhD or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. • Expertise in Data Centers, Emerging Technologies, and Quantum Computing preferred. • Preferred Certifications (will be considered a strong plus): Candidates possessing any of the following certifications will be given preference: • Networking & Infrastructure: CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, JNCIE, Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Cybersecurity & Governance: CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, • Cloud & Systems: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Google Cloud Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), ITIL v4 Expert Quantum Valley Pakistan- Ministry of Defence has advertised a post of Chief Technology Officer in Federal.
