Cyber Security Administrator

NUML requires the services of a Cyber Security Administrator on contract basis for the ICT Department, NUML Main Campus, Sector H-9, Islamabad.

• Handle security threats, system security, policy enforcement and their mitigation
• Secure network traffic in support of network team using firewalls like WAF, Fortinet etc.
• Work with software team on security of information exchanged on web applications
• Regular monitoring, auditing and mitigation to protect digital assets, networks and data from unauthorized access or breaches
• Manage incident response including investigation, documentation and resolution
• Develop, implement and maintain information security policies as per security standards and procedures
• Protect Microsoft Windows Server and Linux platforms from security threats

• Bachelor's - 16 Years Education in CS / SE or equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering
• Minimum 16 years of education in CS / SE or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux platforms
• Experience with firewalls like WAF, Fortinet
• Preference for candidates holding Cyber Security Certifications

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience; hands-on experience in security threats, system security, policy enforcement and mitigation in cyber security fields.
