Cyber Terrorism Investigating Officer (CTIO) (MBS-III)

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) invites applications from Pakistani nationals having domicile of any of the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for recruitment against the post of Cyber Terrorism Investigating Officer (CTIO) (MBS-III) on contract basis. Recruitment is carried out in accordance with The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Market-Based Salary (MBS) Policy 2025. Appointment shall initially be for a period up to three years, extendible for another two years, with an annual 5% increase on basic salary and TA/DA as per government policy (MBS-I to IV grades are equivalent to BS-22 to BS-18 respectively).

• Bachelor's - 16 Years Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Robotics, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Cyber Security
• Pakistani National
• Domicile of any district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
• 16 years of education in relevant field
• Serving officers must apply through proper channel with No Objection Certificate (NOC)
• Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Hospital at the time of joining
• Confidentiality bond under the Official Secrets Act 1923
• Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• Minimum five (05) years of experience in countering cyber-crime by way of Call Data Record (CDR) Analysis, and/or Internet Protocol Data Record (IPDR) Analysis, and/or Digital Forensic Analysis, and/or Cyber Patrolling, and/or Surfing of Web of all kinds, and/or Seeking and Exploring Data of Social Media Applications, and/or Programming, and/or Virtual Assets, and/or Silk Road Investigation, and/or Cyber Security, and/or Data Mining of any other kind.
• Experience accepted from: Government Departments, Judicial Officers, Prosecutors, Police, Army, Intelligence Agencies, Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Financial Institutions, Private Organizations, Self-Employment

Three stage evaluation process. Stage 1 - Initial Screening (CV Review): academic credentials, cover letter, Curriculum Vitae and professional track record assessed, background checks and verification of references. Stage 2 - Aptitude Test: standardized test to assess basic proficiency as per GRE, also includes assessment of technical competency including financial, technical and strategic skills, a case study/problem-solving approach may be applied, scores from this stage are not carried forward. Stage 3 - Competency-Based Interview: at least one detailed interview with a three-member panel. Level of Examination is Medium Level for MBS-III and Basic Level for MBS-IV.
