Deputy Assistant Director (AI/ML Research Engineer)

NADRA requires a Deputy Assistant Director (AI/ML Research Engineer) on a contractual basis at Islamabad HQ, working on machine learning, deep learning and LLM model development, evaluation and MLOps. Selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable if required. Must be willing to work in any shift as per requirement.

• Apply machine learning algorithms, deep learning methods, statistical techniques and LLMs
• Develop models using Python and ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, evaluation and optimization
• Work with cloud-based ML platforms and MLOps workflows
• Handle large-scale datasets using big data technologies
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Bachelor's - BS Artificial Intelligence, BS Computer Science, BS Data Science, BS Machine Learning, BS Information Technology, in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Information Technology, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's (4 years) in Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science/Data Science/Machine Learning/Information Technology from an HEC recognized university
• Master's degree preferred
• Degrees must be attested by HEC
• Willing to work in any shift as per requirement
• NOC required for Government/Semi-Government employees

• Required experience: Up to 1 year
• Preferably 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
