Duties and responsibilities

  • Report to the Director Policy, Strategy & Technical on technical coordination for digital capabilities related to IWRPP and the TVET program
  • Lead planning, development and implementation of the Digital Platform such as a Learning Management Information System
  • Handle administration, user management and training
  • Provide input to the procurement team to engage a firm to develop the digital platform
  • Act as primary point of contact for digital platform technical delivery by the Digital Platform Developer including bug reporting and enhancement requests
  • Support the Project Director in management of developer effort prioritization
  • Coordinate digital platform testing to verify new releases before they go live
  • Lead consultations to identify a wish-list of features and draft the Product Specification Document
  • Support iterations of the Product Specification Document including handover to users
  • Proactively engage users and external stakeholders to increase platform usage and value
  • Provide weekly situation reports of feature development
  • Use platform engagement analytics to inform targeted support and report user behaviour insights
  • Monitor and develop the security of the digital platform
  • Train and support focal points to use the digital platform effectively
  • Maintain comprehensive training and guidance reference documents
  • Develop and finalize user pilot content for user orientation
  • Develop user training feedback forms and identify lessons and corrective actions
  • Work closely with ADB and other donors to deliver best practices
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of technical deliverables
  • Report regularly to relevant government authorities including ICISDD

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Bachelors in Public Policy, Bachelors in Education, Bachelors in International Development, BBA, BS Information Technology, BS Software Engineering, Bachelors in Project Management, in Business Administration, Education, Information Technology, Project Management, Public Policy, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
  • Minimum Bachelors degree (16 years of education) in Public Policy, Education, International Development, Business Administration, IT, Software Engineering, Project Management or a relevant field, Masters preferred
  • At least ten years professional experience in international development programs including technical project management and software deployment
  • Experience in formal and non-formal education settings preferably public sector
  • Demonstrated success on foreign-funded programming and user-centered design
  • Excellent presentation, communication and IT skills
  • Age up to 55 years

Experience required

  • Required experience: At least 10 years
  • At least ten years professional experience in successful implementation of international development programs including substantial experience in technical project management and deployment of software systems; experience in formal and non-formal education settings preferably in the public sector
  • Experience accepted from: Foreign Funded Projects, International Organizations, Government Institutions, Asian Development Bank Projects
