Duties and responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive GRC framework addressing governance, risk management and compliance requirements
- Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate and prioritize risks and maintain the risk register
- Manage and respond to governance, risk and compliance incidents including incident response plans and investigations
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards and manage compliance programs
- Oversee internal and external audits and coordinate audit activities
- Prepare and present detailed reports on GRC activities to senior management and stakeholders
- Develop, review and revise security policies, procedures and standards
- Perform assessments of IT systems, applications and processes to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance
- Ensure communication and enforcement of policies across organizational entities
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory and industry standard changes
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs
- Assess training effectiveness through simulated campaigns and provide recommendations
- Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelors (16 Years) - BS Information Security, BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronic Engineering, BS Cyber Security, in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security, recognised by HEC
- Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Cyber Security from an HEC recognized university
- At least 05 years post-qualification experience in security governance, risk management, compliance and auditing
- Must hold CISA or CISM or CRISC and ISO 27001 LI/LA certification (CISA preferred)
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- At least 05 years post-qualification experience in information security governance, risk management, security compliance and security auditing within large-scale national or international organizations; prior experience in ISO 27001 and CIS controls implementation is an added advantage
- Experience accepted from: Large-Scale National Organizations, International Organizations
