• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Institute
• Lead development and implementation of strategic plans, policies and reforms
• Oversee education research, policy analysis, national assessments and data systems
• Advise Government on education policy, sector planning and learning outcomes
• Build partnerships with federal and provincial governments, academia and development partners
• Ensure effective governance, resource management and compliance

• Master's or PhD - PhD Social Sciences, PhD Public Policy, MA Education, MPA, MSc Economics, MPhil Education, in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education
• PhD in Social Sciences/Management/Public Policy/Administrative Sciences from a recognized national or international university, or Master's degree in the same disciplines

• Required experience: At least 7 years
• 7 years professional experience for candidates with a PhD or 9 years for candidates with a Master's degree

• All candidates: 18 – 62 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 8 Sept 2026.
