About this vacancy
Full Stack Development Manager for the plastics management cell of the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department, responsible for the licensing system and the Plastics Information Management System (PIMS). Lahore domicile only.
Duties and responsibilities
- Improve and update the design of the licensing regime and implement seamless operationalization of the licensing system for the Plastic Management Strategy and Regulations, in liaison with PITB
- Ensure smooth functioning of the electronic database and management information system (PIMS) for tracking plastics production, recycling and monitoring, and report progress to the Team Lead
- Develop in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js), back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP) and mobile applications
- Manage database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Prepare standard operating procedures for every functional aspect under its domain
- Provide training to EP&CCD and EPA on PIMS and its applicability
- Any other task assigned by the higher authorities
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Computer Science or Software Engineering, in Computer Engineering/Sciences, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- 16 years of education in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an HEC recognized university
- Lahore domicile required
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 10 years
- 10 years experience in front-end development frameworks such as React and Angular, back-end frameworks such as Python, ASP.NET and PHP, and database management, preferably with Android development
