GIS Analyst to process, standardize and analyse GIS datasets for planning and infrastructure development.
Duties and responsibilities
- Process, standardize and enhance the quality of GIS datasets
- Perform advanced GIS spatial and remote sensing analysis to support planning and decision-making
- Assist in drone surveys and support processing of drone-derived spatial data
- Process and manage 3D geospatial datasets for mapping, visualization and analysis
- Conduct QA/QC of GIS datasets and web GIS applications
- Manage and maintain GIS databases and support integration with PostgreSQL/PostGIS
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - 16 Years Education, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Project Management, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
- Knowledge of Python scripting and Web GIS development is an advantage
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 2 years
- 02 years of relevant post-qualification experience
