About this vacancy
Lead and coordinate response to cybersecurity incidents in accordance with approved SOPs and supervise SOC operations during the assigned shift on a 24/7 basis. Five years' general age relaxation has already been added to the upper age limit; no other age relaxation is admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and manage SOC operations during the assigned shift on a 24/7 basis
- Lead investigation activities and facilitate meetings
- Perform threat hunting and advanced analysis
- Lead and coordinate response to cybersecurity incidents in accordance with approved SOPs
- Validate and prioritize security alerts
- Conduct technical analysis and forensic handling of incidents
- Coordinate with SOC analysts for incident resolution
- Document and report incidents to higher authorities
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Minimum 16 years education with major in Cyber Security, Network Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Information Assurance, in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Forensic software (FTK, EnCase, XRY, Cellebrite)
- Coding in C, C++, C#, Java, ASM, PERL, PHP
- System monitoring tools and cloud computing
- UNIX, Windows and Linux operating systems
- Problem-solving and advanced analytical skills
- PMP and relevant certifications a plus
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Minimum 8 years of experience of which 4 years in the relevant field
Age limit
- All candidates: 30 – 45 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 12 Oct 2026.
- The upper limit already includes the general age relaxation of 5 years; it is not added again.
