Duties and responsibilities
- Initiate development of a data repository for the Ministry
- Provide technical leadership for climate-related data management
- Maintain IT infrastructure
- Oversee IT inventory, procurement and licensing
- Establish network policies
- Maintain the website and e-office systems
- Perform other assigned tasks
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Information Technology, BS Bridging Computer Science, BBA (Information Technology), BE Computer Science, BE Information Technology, BE Computer Systems Engineering, BE Software Engineering, BE Data Science, B.Com Information Technology, BA (IT), BSc Software Engineering, BBIT, BE Computer Engineering, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- BS/BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline as listed in the advertisement
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments
- Programming (Python, Java, PHP)
- Web development and database management
- Networking concepts
- MS Office proficiency
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT and data management
