Applications are invited from suitable candidates on the prescribed form available on the University official website for appointment against Regular and Contract positions at the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan under Advertisement No. 05/2026. The appointment on three years contract basis will be made initially for six months, extendable up to a maximum of three years or till the arrival of an employee appointed on regular basis on the same sanctioned post, whichever is earlier. The University reserves the right to postpone, increase, decrease or not fill any of the advertised positions without assigning any reason.

• Master's Degree (18 years of education), in English, recognised by HEC Recognized University / Institution
• Master's Degree (18 years of education) with First Class or First Division in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University or Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career
• Candidates who fulfil the required criteria must submit the application form available on the University website along with attested photocopies of educational testimonials, experience certificates, copy of CNIC and Domicile, one recent photograph and the original fee deposit receipt in the office of the Registrar
• Only those qualifications, experiences and publications supported by documentary evidence submitted on or before the closing date will be considered
• Contact number, postal and email address must be clearly written on the application form
• The application processing fee must be deposited in any branch of Bank of Khyber in the University Account titled Miscellaneous Fund UETM
• Candidates applying for more than one post are required to submit separate application forms along with the original bank receipt for each post
• Original documents along with CNIC and domicile must be produced at the time of test or interview
• In-service candidates must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate from their respective department or organization
• Incomplete application forms and those received after the due date shall be rejected without any intimation
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for test or interview

• No prior experience is required for this post.

• All candidates: 18 – 35 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 15 Sept 2026.
• Age relaxation is allowed as per government rules; the advertisement does not give the figures.

An upper limit of 35 years means you must not have reached that age on the date age is counted. A relaxation applies only to the candidates the advertisement names, with the proof it asks for.
