Duties and responsibilities
- Develop annual and monthly training schedules in line with PERA objectives
- Develop and update training modules, lesson plans and courseware in line with modern organizational, technological and legal trends
- Develop and design periodic training modules and skill upgradation courses for PERA HQ employees
- Supervise and coordinate the functioning of all training academies, schools and centers
- Coordinate with the PERA Monitoring and Implementation Wing to supervise research
- Lead and design occasional research projects to enhance PERA operations and efficacy
- Ensure training institutions maintain high standards of excellence
- Conduct tests, drills and after-action reviews to assess trainee performance
- Maintain training records, reports and performance databases
- Recommend remedial training for underperforming officers and employees
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of training equipment, simulators and infrastructure
- Ensure availability of training aids, simulators and field equipment
- Tailor training programs to different branches and specialties
- Ensure compliance with international laws of armed conflict and human rights standards
- Facilitate joint training exercises and exchange programs with allied partners
- Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness
- Analyze feedback from trainees, instructors and operational units
- Include crisis management, disaster response and unconventional scenarios in training
- Report to the senior instructor on status of training programs
- Ensure accountability and transparency in utilization of training resources
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Bachelors (Hons) in any discipline, Masters in any discipline, in Any Discipline, recognised by HEC
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree in any discipline from an HEC recognized university
- 08 years post-qualification experience as an instructor in a training or academic institution
- Training and instructional expertise
- Operational and tactical knowledge
- Crisis and adaptive decision-making
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- 08 years post-qualification experience as an instructor in a training or academic institution
- Experience accepted from: Training Institutions, Academic Institutions
Age limit
