PTS Jobs and Tests

Pakistan Testing Service screening tests and posts.

What a PTS test is, and what it is not

The Pakistan Testing Service is a private testing organisation rather than a government body, and it does not recruit anyone. It conducts screening tests under contract for departments, authorities, boards and companies that do not run their own testing. PTS sets and marks the paper and publishes the result; the recruiting organisation decides the appointment against its own eligibility criteria and issues its own final merit list.

Applying to a post screened by PTS normally means registering for that specific project through the PTS website, paying a test fee by the method the advertisement specifies, and downloading a roll number slip with the test centre, date and reporting time. The eligibility conditions are the recruiting department's, not the testing service's, so a candidate who is ineligible for the post cannot be made eligible by sitting the test.

The paper usually follows a published pattern - subject knowledge weighted against English, general knowledge and analytical reasoning - and the advertisement or candidate guide states the split. Results are published on the PTS website, and shortlisted candidates proceed to an interview with the recruiting body. Treat anyone offering guaranteed marks, leaked papers or appointments in PTS's name as a fraud; testing services publish their results openly and sell nothing else.
