• Assist in management of the technical team including consultant engineers and PIU sub-engineers
• Review, validate and amend prepared designs, drawings and technical specifications and finalize plans for approved subprojects
• Supervise civil works and develop monitoring arrangements including a computerized critical path schedule and management information system
• Monitor execution of civil works under different subprojects
• Manage construction supervision consultants and ensure implementation per specifications and approved drawings
• Ensure a quality assurance methodology is in place and implemented satisfactorily
• Advise and assist the executing agency on contract administration and procurement issues and contractual claims
• Ascertain extension of time and other claims in accordance with contract conditions
• Coordinate with all concerned organizations and relevant staff on project related issues
• Support preparation of bidding documents and evaluation for hiring contractors in accordance with ADB guidelines
• Organize the project work systematically setting forth procedures for accomplishing deliverables
• Oversee and supervise construction work in accordance with construction drawings and technical specifications
• Inform the Project Director about progress, technical issues and required solutions
• Prepare an effective project management cycle for timely completion of civil works
• Perform any other task assigned by the Project Director, PIU or ADB

• Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Masters in Civil Engineering, Masters in Construction Management, Masters in Project Management, in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Engineering, recognised by HEC
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field, preferably Masters in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
• Preferably 08 years relevant professional experience managing projects in lead positions and in contract management
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Working experience in the Punjab region considered favourably
• Age up to 50 years

• Required experience: At least 8 years
• Preferably 08 years of relevant professional experience in managing projects in lead positions and experience in contract management
• Experience accepted from: Foreign Funded Projects, International Organizations, Government Institutions, Asian Development Bank Projects
