Assistant Manager (Audit)

Assistant Manager (Audit) in the Internal Audit function of the Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority.

• Perform the pre-audit function for all payment cases
• Develop the annual internal audit plan
• Prepare complete risk assessment plans
• Conduct internal audit at PERA levels
• Conduct follow-up of audit report implementation and maintain a follow-up database
• Prepare semi-annual and annual reports on activities and results of internal audit activities
• Safeguard audit files, documents and assets available to the Internal Audit Wing
• Prepare replies to audit paras issued by auditors of the AG office and external auditors
• Coordinate with the AG office for DAC and SDAC meetings
• Carry out any other task related to audit

• Bachelor's or Master's - CA Inter, ACCA, ICMA, M.Com, MBA Finance or professional qualification of reputed local or foreign accounting bodies, in Accounting, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting, Finance, ACCA, ACMA, recognised by HEC
• Critical thinking and business understanding
• Technical auditing or accounting skills
• Interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills
• Team oriented with leadership and management skills
• Adaptability
• Knowledge of all relevant tax laws and ordinances
• Presentation and analytical skills
• Thorough knowledge of the Authority's business

• Required experience: At least 1 year
• CA Inter / ACCA / ICMA with articles completed plus 1 year of experience, or M.Com / MBA Finance with 2 years of experience. Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Public Sector Regulatory Authority
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
