Duties and responsibilities
- Work as the primary field-level internal affairs officer in the assigned area
- Monitor conduct, behaviour, integrity and performance of field enforcement staff
- Conduct discreet checks regarding bribery, illegal gratification, misuse of authority, harassment, coercion, financial embarrassment of citizens and misconduct
- Verify complaints received from citizens, field and supervisory officers or confidential sources
- Identify loopholes in field procedures, enforcement practices, reporting channels and citizen facilitation mechanisms
- Conduct field visits, spot checks, surprise inspections and public feedback collection
- Prepare concise and evidence-based reports on misconduct, corruption risks, operational weaknesses and staff behaviour
- Provide early warning and preliminary assessment where disciplinary proceedings may be required
- Assist senior officers in fact-finding inquiries, investigation of complaints and collection of evidence
- Maintain confidential liaison with reliable field sources
- Report cases involving bribery, extortion, abuse of power, negligence, misconduct or violation of SOPs to the Deputy Manager or Manager
- Monitor high-risk enforcement points, vulnerable public dealing areas and officials with repeated complaints
- Support preventive vigilance by identifying risks before they develop into major complaints
- Maintain confidentiality of complainants, witnesses, sources and sensitive information
- Submit daily, weekly, monthly and special reports as required
- Ensure all findings are factual, impartial, evidence-based and free from personal bias
Eligibility criteria
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 Years)|Bachelors (16 Years) - HSSC, Bachelors in any discipline, in Any Discipline
- HSSC level education in any discipline from any educational setup
- 03 years experience in Armed Forces, Police or any other law enforcement agency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- 03 years experience in the Armed Forces, Police or any other law enforcement agency, with preference to candidates with experience in premier intelligence organizations within the country
- Experience accepted from: Armed Forces, Police, Law Enforcement Agencies, Premier Intelligence Organizations
