Assistant Manager (Meter Data Management)

Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO), a public-sector electric utility serving more than 5.1 million consumers, is hiring through NTS for its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) requirements. Appointment on contract with lump sum pay package initially for three years, extendable on satisfactory performance; contract services will not be regularized in future. Selected candidates will perform duties within GEPCO jurisdiction. Posts filled on open merit basis. The recruitment is conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) on behalf of Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO).

• Bachelor's or Master's - Four-years Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
• Four-years Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering, recognized by HEC
• At least two years' experience in relevant field
• Age 21-33 years (includes 5 years general relaxation); scheduled castes and Buddhists get 3 years further relaxation
• Government/WAPDA/DISCOs employees with two years continuous service: age limit up to 43 years
• Candidates from all over Pakistan eligible
• CGPA holders must obtain transcripts with percentage marks from their institution
• Government servants must apply through proper channel with NOC
• Computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, Windows, Internet, e-mail) is an additional advantage
• Dismissed employees or those with criminal record are not eligible
• Separate application form for each post

Written test conducted by NTS; only shortlisted candidates within merit will be called for interview. Test fee Rs. 540 (candidate pays Rs. 270, GEPCO pays Rs. 270); no fee for disabled candidates. Roll number slips uploaded on NTS website at least one week before the test.
