CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Chief Executive Officer of National Insurance Company Limited. Appointment is subject to compliance with the Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012 and approval of SECP. Selection follows approved government policy and the remuneration package will be determined by the Board of Directors based on the candidate's experience and competence. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and no TA/DA will be provided. Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan; dual nationality holders are not eligible.

• Execute the company vision, mission and goals as per Board direction
• Report company performance to the Board
• Provide leadership and foster a culture of performance and accountability
• Develop the marketing plan and future vision
• Lead operational and strategic planning
• Assess and monitor company risks
• Manage finances with the CFO and oversee budgets, cash management and investments
• Collaborate with HR on hiring, compensation and benefits
• Establish quality control and departmental goals
• Ensure legal compliance and regulatory filings
• Represent the company at functions and industry events
• Evaluate executive performance
• Maintain corporate social responsibility standards
• Execute additional responsibilities as per applicable laws

• Bachelor's or Master's - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ACII, FCII, Fellow or Associate of the Institute or Society of Actuaries, Masters degree in Insurance, Masters degree in Risk Management, Masters degree in Actuarial Science, in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC recognized institution with at least 10 years' experience including 5 years as Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or with the Insurance Regulator
• OR ACII or FCII
• OR Fellow or Associate of the Institute or Society of Actuaries or equivalent recognized by the Pakistan Society of Actuaries
• OR Masters degree in Insurance, Risk Management or Actuarial Science from an HEC recognized university with at least 5 years' experience as Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive or Principal Officer
• Compliance with the Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012
• Approval of SECP
• Citizen of Pakistan; dual nationality holders not eligible

• Required experience: At least 10 years
• At least 10 years' experience out of which 5 years as a Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or as an officer with the Insurance Regulator; or 5 years in such a role with ACII/FCII, actuarial fellowship or a Masters in Insurance, Risk Management or Actuarial Science
• Experience accepted from: Insurance Industry, Insurance Regulator

• All candidates: 18 – 62 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 27 Sept 2026.
