Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare a communication strategy incorporating strategies for all key stakeholders and an associated work plan
- Advise implementing agencies management and staff on communication, social media and knowledge support strategies
- Establish the implementing agencies profile, credibility and brand and prepare information disclosure protocols
- Advise on design and maintenance of communication vehicles enabling continuous access to information
- Define a content strategy and support implementation for digital platforms
- Develop content style guide and approaches for web, social media and multimedia
- Research and advise on latest trends and emerging digital platforms
- Identify opportunities for capturing and sharing knowledge and disseminating information
- Support communication activities through knowledge management and learning activities
- Develop and execute media relations campaigns and outreach efforts
- Identify media trends and prepare media pitches to secure editorial placements
- Ensure rapid and accurate information dissemination to media and stakeholders
- Develop messaging and talking points and provide communications counsel to spokespersons
- Develop and maintain a contact list of individuals, groups and organizations
- Establish key performance indicators for evaluating communication strategies
- Maintain regular content review and training processes across the organizations
- Perform any other task assigned by the Project Director, PIU or ADB
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelors (16 Years)|Masters - Masters in Media Relations, Masters in Journalism, Masters in Publishing, Masters in Public Affairs, Masters in Public Administration, in Journalism, Public Administration, Media And Mass Communication, Media Management, recognised by HEC
- Preferably Masters degree in media relations, journalism, publishing, public affairs, public administration or equivalent
- Preferably 10 years relevant professional experience in public relations, communications, social media and external relations
- Preferably 5 years experience in gender inclusive communications and knowledge support
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience with foreign funded projects and international organizations preferred
- Age up to 55 years
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 10 years
- Preferably 10 years demonstrated relevant professional experience at national or international level in public relations, communications, social media, knowledge support, external relations and public affairs, and preferably 5 years experience in developing gender inclusive communications and knowledge support strategies and products
- Experience accepted from: Foreign Funded Projects, International Organizations, Government Institutions, Asian Development Bank Projects
