Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2017 and other applicable regulatory frameworks
- Organize and manage meetings of the Board of Directors, Committees and Shareholders including notices, agendas and minutes
- Maintain statutory records and registers and ensure timely corporate filings
- Provide advisory support to the Board on governance, legal and compliance matters
- Facilitate communication between the Board, management and shareholders
- Ensure timely compliance reporting and support governance audits
- Identify and mitigate corporate governance and regulatory risks
- Coordinate with internal departments for timely completion of tasks
- Lead and mentor the Corporate Affairs team
Eligibility criteria
- Master - MBA, M.Com, B.Com, BBA, LLM, in Business Administration / Commerce / Corporate Law, recognised by HEC
- Master's in Business Administration, Commerce or Corporate Law, or minimum 16 years of education from an HEC recognized university
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or corporate/chartered secretaries
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in the public/private sector
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Stakeholder coordination, analytical and advisory skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Maximum age 44 years including 5 years relaxation
- NOC required for Government/Semi-Government employees
Experience required
- Required experience: 6 – 8 years
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in the public or private sector. Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants or corporate/chartered secretaries.
