Contracts Engineer

Contracts Engineer for the Project Management Unit developing Urban Bus Depots and Allied Infrastructure in Bahawalpur, on a 12-month engagement.

• Administer construction contracts for the bus depot and allied infrastructure works
• Apply FIDIC conditions and public sector procurement rules to contract management
• Evaluate variations, claims and contractual disputes and advise the PMU
• Review contractor submissions, payment certificates and contractual correspondence
• Maintain contract records and reporting for the PMU

• Bachelor's or Master's - Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (16 years of education), in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Sciences, Electronics Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (16 years of education) from an HEC recognized institute
• Engagement for a period of 12 months

• Required experience: At least 10 years
• 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration on infrastructure projects with management and knowledge of FIDIC, public sector procurement and contract law; must be registered with PEC; appointment for a period of 12 months
• Experience accepted from: Infrastructure Projects, Public Sector Organizations
