Office of the Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage Left Bank Region Sukkur, Irrigation Department, invites applications from eligible candidates having domicile of District Hyderabad & Matiari for the post of Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12) on regular basis. Place of vacancy: 02 posts at Rohri Canal Circle Hyderabad; 03 posts at Nasir Division Hyderabad, District Hyderabad; 01 post at the locations listed on this page Irrigation Division Hala, District Matiari. Upper age relaxation of 5 years as per Sindh Government notification. Quota as per law/rules/policy of Sindh Government. Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA admissible. The recruitment is conducted by SIBA Testing Services (STS) on behalf of Sindh Irrigation Department.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist computer operators / data operators in operating the computer set
- Dispose of official government work through computer
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Diploma - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT, Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), in Computer Science, Information Technology, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent from a university / institute recognized by HEC, or Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)
- Valid STS General Screening Test (Graduation category) certificate with at least 40% marks
- In-service applicants must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at interview
- Domicile requirement differs by post - Hyderabad: Domicile of District Hyderabad & Matiari | Shaheed Benazirabad: Domicile of Districts Shaheed Benazirabad & Naushahro Feroze | Sukkur: Domicile of District Sukkur
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 1 year
- At least one (01) year experience as Data Processing Assistant

- All candidates: 18 – 28 years (+5 years relaxation)
