Database Administrator

BS-16 Database Administrator post on contract basis for a period of three (03) years, extendable, in the Special Branch of the Punjab Police Department, posted at Special Branch Headquarters Lahore or Special Branch Rawalpindi Region. Advertisement No. 07/2026, Sr. No. 79, Case No. 07-RH/2026. The recruitment is conducted by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) on behalf of Punjab Police.

• Master's - MCS, Master in Information Technology, BCS (Hons), in Computer Science, Information Technology, recognised by Higher Education Commission
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission, or BCS (Hons) four years (second division) from an HEC recognized university
• All Punjab basis domicile

• Required experience: At least 1 year
• One year post-qualification administrative experience in database management, troubleshooting and data analysis in an entity registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan or another regulatory authority, or Oracle Database Administrator with the aforementioned experience. Only practical experience acquired after the prescribed qualification is considered.
• Experience accepted from: Government, Semi Government, Autonomous Bodies, Private entities registered with SECP or Registrar of Firms

• Male: 21 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
• Female: 21 – 30 years (+8 years relaxation)
• Transgender: 21 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
• Age is counted on the closing date, 5 Aug 2026.
