Drawing and Disbursing Officer advising the Principal Accounting Officer on financial, budgetary and accounting matters.
Duties and responsibilities
- Advise the Principal Accounting Officer on financial, budgetary and accounting matters
- Maintain government accounting procedures
- Manage government funds
- Coordinate with Federal Audit and AGPR
- Work with ERP systems
- Prepare bills for AGPR clearance
- Maintain records, accounts and compilation of reports
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MBA (Finance), EMBA, ICMA, ACCA, Bachelor's in Finance or Accounts and related degrees as listed in the advertisement, in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
- Financial audit experience
- SAP/ERP implementation knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office and effective communication
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- Minimum 5 years of total experience including 3 years as Finance/Accounts Manager handling bills, receivables, reconciliation and financial analysis, 2 years with PSDP-ICT projects and 2 years working with AGPR on public funds (mandatory)
