Deputy Director (Financial Analyst) at the Ministry of Railways, responsible for financial modelling and scenario analysis for Pakistan Railways and its development initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Build financial models for PR and its development initiatives
- Perform scenario analysis
- Determine operating costs by setting standard costs and collecting operational data
- Assess financial status by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide cost analysis by setting and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining techniques and recommending actions
- Recommend initiatives to improve PR's financial indicators
- Maintain databases of cost items and PR performance data
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the Competent Authority
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - ACCA, MS Economics, Chartered Accountancy (CA), MS (Finance), in Accounting & Finance, Economics, recognised by HEC
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 7 years
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
