• Oversee the output of consultants on design of gates and gearing related to the projects and coordinate for solution of construction issues in the field
• Interact with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders on project progress or areas requiring immediate attention
• Handle issues relating to design of gates and gearing
• Review the design of gates and gearing prepared by the contractor and develop and review technical specifications and material composition and properties
• Assist the Director Technical in performance of his duties

• Bachelors (16 Years)|MS/MPhil (18 Years) - BSc Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Mechanical Engineering, in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, recognised by HEC, PEC
• BSc Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized university or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with BSc Mechanical Engineering
• 12 years experience with BSc Engineering or 6 years with MSc Engineering
• Registered with PEC
• Experience in designing hydraulic gates, hoisting mechanism and superstructures on canals and barrages
• Experience of implementation of projects
• Experience in supervising manufacturing of hydraulic gates and allied components
• Punjab domicile

• Required experience: At least 6 years
• Overall professional experience of 12 years in case of BSc Engineering or 6 years in case of MSc Engineering, including experience in designing hydraulic gates, hoisting mechanism and superstructures on canals and barrages
• Experience accepted from: Government Departments, Public Sector Organizations, Water Sector Projects
