PESCO is a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) which provides electricity to its customers under its operational jurisdiction. The Company invites applications from suitable candidates to fill this position purely on contract basis on lump sum pay basis, with no regularization in future. PESCO reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage, and the Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies while mentioning a cogent reason thereof. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification. This post is Deputy Manager IT Operations, 1 position(s). The recruitment is conducted by Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on behalf of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).

• Bachelor's or Master's - 16 Years Qualification in Information Technology, 16 Years Qualification in Computer Science, 16 Years Qualification in Software Engineering, 16 Years Qualification in Computer Engineering, MSc, Equivalent qualification, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, recognised by HEC Recognized University
• At least 16 years qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, MSc or equivalent from an HEC recognized university
• Candidates should be eligible in all respects before or by the last date of receipt of applications
• Selected candidates will be required to perform duty anywhere under the jurisdiction of PESCO as per the requirement of the Company
• Original documents must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview
• Candidates working in Government or Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with a separate fee
• Dismissed or screened out employees of any organization, or candidates having a criminal record, are not eligible for employment in PESCO
• Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification
• Applications received after the due date will not be entertained; incomplete applications or applications submitted with fake documents or information shall be rejected at any stage
• In case of a foreign degree, equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• Must have 5 years experience as Assistant Manager in IT Operations, Meter Data Management or Meter Data Collection.

• All candidates: 18 – 40 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 7 Oct 2026.
• The upper limit already includes the general age relaxation; it is not added again.
• Scheduled Castes and Buddhists: 3 years more.
• Government servants (two years continuous Government service): 10 years more.

An upper limit of 40 years means you must not have reached that age on the date age is counted. A relaxation applies only to the candidates the advertisement names, with the proof it asks for.

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the Appointing Authority and if a candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he or she will be disqualified by the Appointing Authority. Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for relevance in terms of the eligibility criteria. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slip from www.etea.edu.pk; test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip. No separate call letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through postal or courier means. Any litigation pertaining to recruitment tests conducted by ETEA will be dealt with by them at their own cost without any liability whatsoever on PESCO.
