Duties and responsibilities
- Manage all land related activities for the electric bus depots including identification of required private land and transfer of state lands, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate with PTC, T&MD, Board of Revenue and district administration and facilitate acquisition under applicable land acquisition laws
- Coordinate with legal teams and stakeholders to resolve land ownership disputes and right-of-way (RoW) issues
- Manage all legal matters related to planning, execution and operation of electric bus depots
- Carry out legal vetting of contracts and agreements and handle contractual disputes and claims
- Provide legal advice on procurement and project matters
- Any other task assigned
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor - LLB, LLM preferred, in Law, recognised by HEC
- LLB from an HEC recognized institution; LLM shall be preferred
- Minimum 08 years of relevant legal experience
- Experience in public sector shall be preferred
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Minimum 08 years of relevant legal experience; experience in public sector preferred
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations
