About this vacancy
Design & Supervision Specialist at Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company, covering design, review and construction supervision of municipal water supply, sewerage and wastewater infrastructure.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment systems
- Prepare and review feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs and cost estimates
- Apply innovative technologies in water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment
- Plan and manage public sector infrastructure projects and coordinate with government departments, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
- Prepare and review PC-Is, technical reports, project proposals and donor-funded project documentation
- Carry out construction supervision, quality assurance and quality control, contract administration and measurement and certification of works
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline), in Civil Engineering/Sciences, Environmental Engineering/Sciences, Chemical Engineering/Sciences, Mechanical Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline) from an HEC recognized institution
- Minimum 10 years specific experience across design and implementation of water supply, sewerage and wastewater systems, feasibility studies and detailed designs, public sector infrastructure management, PC-I and donor documentation, and construction supervision and contract administration
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 15 years
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in engineering, infrastructure or municipal services projects, including at least 10 years of specific experience in water supply, sewerage and wastewater systems
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Donor-Funded Projects
