Eligibility criteria
- Master - Master, in Library Science, Library And Information Science, recognised by HEC
- Second class or Grade 'C' Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by HEC
- Seventeen (17) years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Age limit
- Male: 37 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)
- Female: 37 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)
- Transgender: 37 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)

Written test comprising objective type MCQs paper(s) will be held tentatively with effect from 10-10-2026. Schedule of test and syllabus shall be issued on FPSC website www.fpsc.gov.pk after publication of the advertisement.
