Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager Projects in the Planning & Projects function of Lahore Waste Management Company.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and verify detailed BOQs and quantity take-offs
- Prepare cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects
- Apply and interpret MRS rates
- Prepare detailed rate analysis for civil works
- Read, review and prepare AutoCAD drawings
- Assess civil structures, foundations, RCC, steel reinforcement, masonry, roads, drainage and related infrastructure
- Prepare and review technical specifications and tender documents
- Measure and verify quantities at site
- Technically review contractors' estimates, rates, variations and claims
- Monitor project execution, progress, quality, cost and schedule
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues
- Maintain project drawings, BOQs, estimates, reports and technical documentation
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Bachelors Degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering, Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), in Civil Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
- Bachelors Degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized institute or university
- Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in civil construction, infrastructure projects, project estimation, consultancy, contracting or public sector projects
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 35 years
