Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) is looking for young, energetic and dedicated individuals willing to work in any District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Online applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (citizens of Pakistan) on a regular basis. Female and minority candidates are specially encouraged to apply. This post is Driver (BPS-06) with 275 posts allocated across merit, zones and the minority quota. No women quota is allocated against this post. Zone-wise breakup is available on the ETEA website and on the official website of Rescue 1122 at https://rescuekp.gov.pk. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification. The recruitment is conducted by Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on behalf of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122).

• Middle
• Middle pass and physically fit with a valid HTV or LTV driving licence
• Only valid driving licences issued by the Government of Pakistan will be considered
• Fresh apply tokens for driving licence will not be considered for the post of Driver
• Mandatory physical test: 01 mile running in 07 minutes for male candidates with minimum height 5 feet 6 inches and chest 33 inches
• Mandatory physical test: 01 mile running in 09 minutes for candidates aged 40 years and above
• Mandatory physical test: 01 mile running in 09 minutes for female candidates with height 5 feet 2 inches
• Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and citizen of Pakistan
• Willing to work in any District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
• Minimum 40 percent marks in the screening or written test and interview
• Diplomas from banned boards or councils as notified by TEVTA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not be considered
• Original CNIC must be brought to all tests and interviews
• Original certificates, degrees and mark sheets duly verified from the relevant boards and universities must be produced at interview
• Medical examination at Police & Services Hospital, Peshawar after approval by the Selection Committee
• Mandatory training of six months, or as prescribed, and passing of all required examinations after selection
• Police Clearance Certificate must be produced before receiving the offer of appointment
• Surety Bond on stamp paper duly countersigned by an Oath Commissioner must be submitted
• Candidates must be eligible in all respects on the closing date for submission of applications
• Candidates serving in Government or Semi-Government organizations must apply through proper channel with NOC
• Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with a separate fee
• No TA/DA is admissible for the physical test, written test or interview
• In case of a foreign degree, an HEC equivalence certificate must be provided

• No prior experience is required for this post.

• All candidates: 22 – 35 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 15 Oct 2026.

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the physical and screening test; detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the Appointing Authority and any candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified. The threshold for passing the screening/written test and interview for BPS-01 to BPS-16 is 40 percent marks and above. Screening/written test marks are counted in the final aggregate as per Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rules: Educational Criteria 70 marks, weightage of ETEA test 20 marks and interview 10 marks. ETEA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also conduct an ability or skill test (such as driving, computer literacy or diving) in the cadres where required, which is considered a screening tool for the selection process. ETEA will verify documents from the relevant board, council or university and check original certificates, degrees and mark sheets at the time of Quality Check; a candidate failing to appear in the Quality Check process will not be considered for the further recruitment process. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only. Selection shall be made purely on merit.
