Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan invites applications for the post of GM (Engineering) Civil (South) (1 post) at Karachi on open merit, purely on contract basis, extendable annually upon satisfactory performance. The recruitment is conducted by ETC-HEC on behalf of Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Ltd..
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Valid PEC registration mandatory
- Government employees must submit NOC with CV
- Candidate must be eligible in all respects for the post

- Required experience: At least 20 years
- Minimum 20 years of relevant field experience

- Verbal Reasoning - 20%
- Analytical Reasoning - 10%
- Construction Management and Project Management - 15%
- Civil Engineering Drawings (Architecture, Structure, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Surveying etc.) - 10%

- Geotechnical - 10%
- Transportation - 10%
- Public Health Engineering including EIA - 5%
- Water Resources, Hydraulic and Irrigation - 5%
- Leadership & Strategic Management - 5%
100 MCQs test conducted by Education Testing Council (ETC), HEC in Islamabad and Karachi as per PIDCL proposed content weightages. Test fee Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) via 1Link/1Bill. Original CNIC/Passport and ETC roll number slip mandatory on test day.
The test is conducted by ETC-HEC. Roll number slips and test dates are announced on their official website - check it rather than waiting to be contacted.
