About this vacancy
Individual short-term consultancy for six (06) months at Punjab Safe Cities Authority, Lahore, with approved official travel and virtual international engagement as required, reporting to the Managing Director PSCA or an authorized senior representative. Remuneration is deliverable-based and paid in tranches on the basis of qualifications, relevant experience, approved cost estimate and applicable rules. Extension is subject to need, satisfactory performance, approved budget, approval of the Competent Authority and applicable procurement rules. No TA/DA is admissible and the engagement confers no right to regular appointment. Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement the international engagement strategy
- Liaise with UN and other multilateral organizations
- Build and manage the partnership pipeline
- Pursue awards and international recognition opportunities
- Build media and communications capacity of the team
- Provide executive advisory support to senior management
Eligibility criteria
- Master - Masters, 16 Years of Education, in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, International Development, Communications, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
- Proficiency in English, with working coordination also in Urdu
- Government employees must apply through proper channel and obtain a No Objection Certificate
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in international engagement, strategic partnerships, stakeholder relations, public policy, development cooperation, institutional communications or related functions; demonstrated experience involving at least two of the listed organization types; preference for a record in awards and recognition applications, capacity building, media team development, smart cities, policing, digital platforms or responsible technology
- Experience accepted from: Government/Public Sector Institutions, International or Multilateral Organizations, Diplomatic Missions, Law Enforcement and Public Safety Bodies, Global Technology Companies, Academia, Foundations, Development Partners
