Junior Scale Stenographer

The Office of the Commissioner, Hazara Division invites applications from eligible candidates of Hazara Division for one vacant post of Junior Scale Stenographer. Appointment will be made on a regular basis in accordance with the prevailing rules of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The recruitment is conducted by Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on behalf of Office of the Commissioner, Hazara Division, Abbottabad.

• Intermediate - FA, FSc, Equivalent qualification, recognised by Approved Institute
• At least Second Division FA or FSc, or an equivalent qualification, from any approved educational institute
• Typing speed of 35 words per minute
• Shorthand speed of 50 English words per minute
• Proficiency in computer, MS Word and MS Excel
• Candidate must belong to Hazara Division
• Only an experience certificate issued by a government organization and countersigned by the head of that organization is acceptable
• Government employees may submit applications through their department along with an NOC stating their date of appointment and designation
• No TA/DA will be given to candidates appearing for the test or interview

• No prior experience is required for this post.

• All candidates: 18 – 30 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 30 Sept 2026.
• Age relaxation is allowed as per government rules; the advertisement does not give the figures.

All candidates will be provisionally allowed to sit in the screening test. If a candidate is found ineligible for any reason during scrutiny by the competent authority, that candidate will be declared ineligible for recruitment at any stage. Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the ETEA screening test. Intimation of the interview will be given through SMS, so candidates must not close or change their mobile SIM until the recruitment process is complete. All information about the ETEA screening test will be given on the Roll Number Slip. No separate call letter for the screening test will be sent by post or courier.
