Lecturer (Electrical Engineering)

The University of Engineering and Technology Mardan invites applications from suitable candidates against the post of Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering under Advertisement 11/2026. The appointment on 03 years contract basis will be made initially for six months, extendable up to a maximum of three years or till the arrival of an employee appointed on regular basis on the same sanctioned post, whichever is earlier. The University reserves the right to withhold the appointment against any advertised post, or to cancel, postpone, increase, decrease or not fill any of the advertised positions without assigning any reason. The recruitment is conducted by Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on behalf of University of Engineering and Technology Mardan.

• Master's Degree (First Class) in Electrical Engineering from an HEC recognized University or Institution
• No 3rd division in the academic career
• PEC Registration in Electrical Engineering is mandatory
• No experience required
• Eligibility shall be reckoned in all respects by the last date of receipt of applications for the ETEA test
• In-service candidates should apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate from their concerned department or organization
• Applicants holding foreign degrees or certificates must provide an Equivalency Certificate from HEC or IBCC Islamabad before the closing date
• Degrees, diplomas or certificates in languages other than English must be accompanied by an officially verified English translation
• An official percentage certificate must be submitted where transcripts or DMCs do not explicitly mention percentage marks
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the test and interview

• Age relaxation is allowed as per government rules; the advertisement does not give the figures.

An upper limit of 35 years means you must not have reached that age on the date age is counted. A relaxation applies only to the candidates the advertisement names, with the proof it asks for.

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided; detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the Appointing Authority and any candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified. Candidates whose details are received from ETEA after qualifying the written test shall submit the University application form within 15 days of the intimation of results. Only eligible shortlisted applicants shall be called for demonstration and interview. Test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip and no separate call letter will be issued by post or courier for the screening test.
