About this vacancy
Manage and develop the Company's Takaful business in accordance with Shariah principles, regulatory requirements and strategic objectives, reporting to the Head of Takaful Operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing the Takaful business strategy
- Develop and review Takaful products, schemes and procedures
- Coordinate with Shariah advisors on Shariah compliance
- Review Takaful underwriting procedures and guidelines
- Coordinate Takaful claims processing
- Monitor re-Takaful arrangements
- Assist in Takaful pricing and contribution structures
- Prepare management reports, business plans and performance analysis
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Master's in Finance, Master's in Islamic Banking, Master's in Business Administration, 4 years Bachelor's degree (16 years of education), in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
- Master's degree or 4 years bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Finance, Islamic Banking or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 60% marks
- Certification in Takaful, Islamic Finance or Shariah-related disciplines preferred
- Experience in Takaful product development, underwriting, claims and Shariah compliance
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 6 years
- Minimum 6 years experience with at least 3 years at senior level, preferably with a reputable Takaful or insurance organization
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 35 years
