About this vacancy
Applications are invited for appointment as Principal on contract basis for two (02) years, extendable for a further two (02) years subject to satisfactory performance, for Daanish Schools at Bagh and Bhimber (AJK) and Ghanche, Sultanabad and Astore (Gilgit-Baltistan). One post for each school. Pay package DS-20 equivalent plus one (01) basic pay per month. Applicants from all over Pakistan including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible on open merit. The recruitment is conducted by Education Testing Council (ETC) on behalf of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT).
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and administer the Daanish School
- Oversee school administration and holistic grooming and personality development of faculty and students
- Manage key operational functions including curriculum development
- Hire teachers and perform ancillary duties
- Serve at any Daanish School anywhere in Pakistan as determined by the Competent Authority
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Master, minimum CGPA 2.5, recognised by HEC
- Minimum 16 years education / Master's degree with at least 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized educational institution
- Strong leadership and managerial capabilities with ability to command and inspire
- In-depth knowledge of school administration
- Proficiency in managing operational functions of a state-of-the-art school
- Proficiency in English communication
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 17 years
- Minimum seventeen (17) years' experience as a Principal or senior faculty member, preferably in a reputable institution
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 63 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 20 Sept 2026.
