About this vacancy
Head of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor Support Project, responsible for establishment and overall supervision of the CPEC Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Establish and operate a fully functional CPEC Secretariat
- Liaise with Chinese counterparts to support and facilitate implementation of CPEC projects
- Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of the project lifecycle
- Assist in processing CPEC related projects per bilateral understandings and the CPEC Long Term Plan
- Assist in identification and management of risks relating to CPEC projects
- Manage stakeholder interactions with public and private sector institutions
Eligibility criteria
- Master's - MSc Engineering, MBA (Project Management), MS Project Management, MSc Economics, MSc Civil Engineering, MS Engineering Management, in Engineering, Economics, Accounting & Finance
- Master's level qualification in engineering, economics, finance, project management or related field
- 15 years experience with wide understanding of development projects, especially CPEC
- Strong organizational and senior stakeholder management skills
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 15 years
- 15 years experience with rich background in development projects, especially CPEC related projects
