Public Finance Management Specialist (SPPS-II)

Public Finance Management Specialist engaged on contract in SPPS-II with the Finance Division, supporting budget analysis, fiscal forecasting and public financial management reform.

• Revenue and expenditure forecasting
• Fiscal data analysis for credit rating agencies
• Budget analysis across sectors
• Preparation of budget ceilings
• Fiscal data management
• Support budget modernization
• Expenditure controls
• Update the Budget Manual
• Budget transparency initiatives
• Provide training to budget officials
• Any other duties assigned by the Additional Finance Secretary (Budget)

• Master's - Masters degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, MBA (Finance), MSc Economics, MPhil Finance, CPFA and other related postgraduate qualifications as listed in the advertisement, in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Mathematics, recognised by HEC
• Masters degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or equivalent from a recognized university
• Strong understanding of Pakistan's PFM landscape
• Stakeholder coordination ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems

• Required experience: At least 10 years
• At least 10 years of experience in public finance management, fiscal management, revenue management, budget allocation and public financial planning
