Resident Auditor / Manager Audit

Resident Auditor / Manager Audit at Lahore Waste Management Company, leading risk-based internal audit of the company's departments and field operations.

• Assist the Chief Internal Auditor in identifying and assessing financial, operational and compliance risks and developing risk-based audit priorities
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend measures to strengthen governance and prevent leakages
• Plan, conduct and supervise audits of departments and field operations including waste management operations, fleet and workshops, HR and payroll, procurement and contracts, finance, stores, inventory and assets
• Manage matters relating to audits by the Auditor General of Pakistan including coordination with AG audit teams and provision of records, working papers and departmental replies
• Assist in preparation and defence of audit paras before DAC, SDAC and PAC and follow up outstanding paras
• Prepare and review audit observations, working papers and reports and monitor implementation of recommendations
• Conduct special audits, investigations and fact-finding exercises relating to suspected irregularities, fraud or financial loss
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, Fleet, Workshops, Stores and Contracts for timely provision of records
• Supervise audit staff and review audit working papers
• Assist in preparation of the annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan and reports for the Audit Committee of the Board

• Bachelor's or Master's - CA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent, Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Accounting, Finance or Audit, in Accounting, Chartered Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, ACMA, recognised by HEC
• CA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent, or a relevant degree (16 years of education) in Accounting, Finance or Audit from an HEC recognized university or institution

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• Preferably 05 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, financial audit, compliance or risk management; experience in a public sector company, government or autonomous organization or large corporate entity is an added advantage
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 18 – 45 years
