• Postgraduate - MBBS, FCPS, MS, FRCS, Diplomat American Board, in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery, recognised by Pakistan Medical Commission
• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
• FCPS or MS or FRCS or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac, Paediatric Cardiovascular or Congenital Cardiac Surgery recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission
• Alternatively the above post-graduate qualification in Cardiac, Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery with one year experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Cardiac or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery, or in Paediatric Surgery or General Surgery with three years' such experience
• Punjab domicile

• No prior experience is required for this post.
• No experience is required with the primary qualification; alternative routes require one year experience after post-graduation in Cardiac, Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery, or three years' experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Surgery or General Surgery. Conditions of experience: only practical experience in a recognized institution issued by the appointing authority or PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification is considered, supported by appointment letters, notifications or office orders. Government sector contract, current charge, acting charge and ad-hoc experience is accepted if issued by the appointing/competent authority or PMDC/PMC. OPS/designated (up to 17.06.2021 only), BOM, TTS and university cadre experience is considered only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC. Foreign, autonomous body and private institution experience is accepted only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.
